With the release of the latest version of iOS 6.1.3, Apple showed why it is always one step ahead of the competition. This version is more developed and has a lot of bug fixes.
If you are considering on jailbreaking your smartphone, it is good to know that Apple has fixed the Evasi0n untethered jailbreak bug for iPhone 5, 4S, iPod Touch 5G, iPad mini, 4, 3 and iPad 2.

Jailbreak iOS 6.1.3 Devices

Same goes for the newer devices because the option to downgrade iOS 6.1.3 firmware is not available. However, if you are in possession of A4 powered iOS device you will be able to perform tethered jailbreak on iOS 6.1.3 firmware.
After running some tests, we have confirmed that the latest generation of devices such as iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPad and iPod touch 5th-generation cannot be jailbroken. However, if you are in possession of and older device you will be able to perform tethered jailbreak using the newest version of Redsnow.

Supported Devices:

• iPhone 4
• iPhone 3GS
• iPod touch 4G

It is important to know that if your device is using iOS 6.1.2 you MUST NOT update to iOS 6.1.3 because there is a possibility of wasting your evasi0n untethered jailbreak. In this session I will focus on explaining how to jailbreak your iPhone using redsn0w only for the older devices as I’ve mentioned above.

Jailbreaking Requirements:

The requirements for jailbreaking your device are:

1. Redsn0w (version 0.9.15b3)
2. Your iPhone or iPod touch must have installed iOS 6.1.3, if not you can download it by clicking here
3. You must have iOS 6.0 IPSW, if not you can download it by clicking here.

So now you are ready to start the iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak process.

IOS 6.1.3 Jailbreak Instructions:

Step 1: First thing that you need to do is to download iOS 6.0.
Step 2: Download Redsn0w 0.9.15b3 and Launch it.

Step 3: Click the Extras button and click on Select IPSW. Afterwards navigate Redsn0w to the unaltered iOS 6.0 IPSW which you previously downloaded.

Step 4: While running Redsn0w, click on jailbreak and follow the instructions provided. Shortly afterwards you will be reminded to select and install Cydia.

Step 5:After you complete the prior steps you will be informed to enter DFU mode with the assistance of the Redsn0w wizard.
If you have successfully completed all the steps, Redsn0w should initiate and the process of jailbreak using the Limera1n exploit should begin. If you want to install additional tweaks and packages to your device you can install it from Cydia.

Final note: It is important not to forget that this is tethered jailbreak so if your phone loses power due to malfunction or reboots it will be back on the state before it was jailbreaked. But this time if you want to return it to the current state all you have to do is to plug your phone to your computer, start Redsn0w, select Extras and select the Just Boot option and the process of jailbreak automatically will start.

How to Jailbreak Your iPad 4, 3, 2, Mini Using Evasi0n (Windows) [6.0.0-6.1.2]

These are instructions on how to jailbreak your iPad 4, iPad 3, iPad 2, or iPad mini on iOS 6.0 to iOS 6.1.2 using Evasi0n for Windows.

Step One
Ensure your iPad is on iOS 6.0 to iOS 6.1.2 then perform a backup of your iPad using these instructions.

Step Two
Create a folder called Pwnage on your desktop and download the latest version of the Evasi0n utility into the folder. You can find download links for Evasi0n here.


Step Three
Extract the Evasi0n zip file to the Pwnage folder on your desktop.


Step Four
Double click the newly created evasi0n-win folder to open it.


Step Five
Right click the Evasi0n exe icon then select Run as Administrator from the contextual menu to launch the application.


Step Six
Ensure your iPad is connected to the computer via a USB cable if you haven't already.


Step Seven
Remove any lock screen passcodes on your device then click the Jailbreak button to begin.


Step Eight
The app will retrieve information from the device to generate jailbreak data, inject stage 1 jailbreak data, reboot the device, wait for the device to be ready, inject stage 2 jailbreak data, upload Cydia, and upload the Cydia packages list.




Step Nine

These are instructions on how to jailbreak your iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, or iPhone 3GS on iOS 6.0 to iOS 6.1.2 using Evasi0n for Windows.


Step One

Step Two

How to Jailbreak Iphone 3gs 5.1.1 Absinthe 2.0 (Windows)

These are instructions on how to perform an untethered jailbreak of your iPhone on iOS 5.1.1 using Absinthe for Windows.

Warning***: Before you continue make sure to do a backup of your device in iTunes as you may lose your Camera Roll during this process.



Step One
Download the latest version of Absinthe from here.

Step Two
Extract the downloaded archive.


Step Three
Double click the absinthe-win-2.0.exe file from the folder that was just extracted.


This will create a new folder called absinthe-win-2.0.


Open the newly created folder and launch absinthe.exe.


Step Three
As prompted, connect your iPhone to the computer via USB. Make sure to remove any passcodes or VPN settings you've previously set.


Step Four
Click the Jailbreak button to begin


Step Five
The application will take you through several steps to jailbreak including: beginning jailbreak, sending initial jailbreak data, sending final jailbreak data, waiting for reboot, and waiting for process to complete.






Step Six
You will be informed that the jailbreak is 'Done'.


Step Seven
In a few moments you will notice Cydia appear on your Springboard!

How to Jailbreak Iphone 3gs 5.1.1 using Redsnow

These are instructions on how to jailbreak your iPhone 3GS on the iOS 5.1.1 firmware using RedSn0w for Windows. The Mac tutorial is here.

Remember to save your SHSH Blobs by following this tutorial before continuing.

Step One
Create a folder on your desktop called Pwnage

Download the latest version of RedSn0w from here and place it in the Pwnage folder. Likewise, download the 5.1.1 firmware from here and place it in the Pwnage folder. (Note: you do not need to download the 5.1.1 firmware if you are already on iOS 5.1.1)

Extract the RedSn0w zip file by double clicking it.


Step Two: (Skip this step if you're on iOS 5.1.1 already)
Connect your iPhone to the computer and launch iTunes.


Select your iPhone from the list of devices on the left. Now hold down Shift and click the Restore button. Restore is preferred as it won't create any wasted space on your iPhone.


Navigate to the Pwnage folder on your desktop and select the 5.1.1 firmware ipsw. Click the Choose button to continue.


iTunes will now update your iPhone to the new firmware.

Step Three
Launch the redsn0w application from the redsn0w folder by right clicking it and choosing Run as Administrator.




Step Four
Once RedSn0w opens click the Jailbreak button


You may be asked to choose between the DRU ramdisk method or the backup/restore method. Click Yes to use the DFU ramdisk method.


If asked, tell RedSn0w whether you have a new model or older model of the iPhone 3GS.


Step Five
Plug your iPhone into the computer and make sure its OFF then click the Next button


Step Six
RedSn0w will now guide you through the steps to get into DFU mode. You can find more help with DFU mode here


Hold down both the Home button and the Power button for 10 seconds.


Release the Power button and continue holding the Home button until RedSn0w detects the device.


Step Seven
Your iPhone will now reboot


Step Eight
RedSn0w will prepare the jailbreak data.


Step Nine
Select Cydia from the list of options and click Next.


**IMPORTANT: If you want to upgrade to the iPad baseband then downgrade to 05.13 for unlock check Install iPad Baseband. YOU CAN ONLY DO THIS IF DIGITS 3-5 of your device's serial number are less than 134.

Step Ten
Your iPhone will now be rebooted again and RedSn0w will begin uploading the new RAM Disk and Kernel.


Step Eleven
Once this is complete you will be notified that RedSn0w is done. When your iPhone finishes rebooting (5 minutes or so) it will be jailbroken with Cydia on the SpringBoard.
